If you want to go for research then go for MTech. Or if you want to get better package then do the MTech from IITs, not guaranteed though.

If you do it from good foreign universities like MIT, Stanford, etc. then it is worth doing. Just don't go to any university.. just research enough..talk to the Indian Alumnis (at least 3-5) to remove biases from those universities and then make a final decision.
