I found Sapiens both exciting and frustrating. Harari has a gift for synthesizing complex ideas into accessible narratives, but he sometimes oversimplifies or makes sweeping generalizations. The darker tone in the later parts of the book reflects some genuine issues in how human societies have developed, but I'd encourage readers to view it as a starting point for further exploration rather than the final word on these topics.
