This is exactly why I've been hesitant about keeping large amounts in exchanges. Cold storage is the way to go, folks. I'm curious about the negotiation process though. Do hackers ever actually return funds? Seems like a long shot, but I guess it's worth a try. If the INR rates for USDC and USDT do collapse, it's going to be a bloodbath for Indian crypto traders
