I wonder what happens to the cash we give to the delivery executive on cash on delivery orders, do they hand over the exact cash to the superiors or they keep it with them and transfer money online, does some amount of Chalugiri happen in this?

Lol, 'chalugiri'. You'd be surprised how tight the tracking is these days. Every order is logged in the app, and the cash collected is tallied against it. Unless the delivery guy wants to lose his job over a few hundred rupees, it's not worth the risk

These companies have been doing this for years. They've got systems in place. Plus, with UPI becoming so common, cash orders are becoming rarer anyway. The real question is why are you still using cash for online orders in 2024? 😂😂

It depends on the company, bro. Some make the delivery executives deposit cash daily, others weekly. But most have switched to digital wallets now. The exec scans a QR code, you pay, and it goes directly to the company account. Less hassle, less chance of fraud
