Imo it won't work, no company would pay your company to get their ads on because they know the target audience won't purchase or the ROI of company will be immensely negative. But keep up with the good ideas.

Yes, but as you said earlier that your product or app was based on students that need some money on the side, companies will clock this and will not be interested as they know that their ads are invaluable for students, a very little proportion of that would turn to revenue for them. But I asked some of my friends and they said this might work, so best of luck and I hope I am wrong. Glad to help.
