Never in any sense. Zeptos optimization would work only for tier1 cities. When comes to tier2 dmart and smart are shining. Even if zepto comes to tier2 there will be no consumers and also they make loses for sure. Adoption takes time. But after 15 to 20 years. There is a chance but I feel until then something new will be already appeared.

People go to Dmart in order to fill up their monthly inventory, they do this because of the low prices. Zepto is perceived as an instant delivery app which is used in case you need something immediately. Ordering in bulk from zepto in order to build up your monthly inventory at low prices is something people don't do yet. Zepton would need to change it's perception, it's distribution system, not to mention the delivery system which would not only consistofb bikes and scootys but also trucks and tempos. They indeed can but they need to introduce larger delivery vechiles to cater to the dmart/jiomart type audience. Bike riders are limited to a certain kg amount even if they are those new e-bikes which are specially made for deliveries. Tempos with crate deliveries would definitely lead them to it
