See others pov may be different and your idea could work but in my pov See it's only effective if you build something that on its own track and control energy supply on itself The households. Just care about the saving they don't want to know which stuff is consuming how much energy Also you can see that the household which are very conscious about thier power consumption themselves keep a track that how much time one thing or another thing is working and it ended up for them reducing their bills it's not effective as your but it does effect right On the other side there are households who don't care much about the consumption and just say at the end that it's too much this time and again do the same thing so this kind of people may buy it but with a lesser possiblities Instead give them better electricity supply options Try solar or etc jio is also going in the solar panel very soon
