Meet Mark Parker. Under Parker's 14-year tenure as CEO, Nike's revenues grew from $14 billion to $45 billion and market cap increased from $16 billion to $145 billion. As a designer, he has worked on iconic shoes like the Air Pegasus and Air Presto. But what's far more interesting is that he is known for his unique approach to balancing his left and right brain functions. He carries a Moleskine notebook to every meeting, which he uses to keep the two sides of his brain in harmony. One page of the notebook is dedicated to business brainstorming, while the opposite page is used for sketches and doodles. This practice lets him use both his analytical and creative skills at the same time, boosting his problem-solving and inspiring new ideas. Tell me about your creative practices, if you have any!
