OpenAI earlier had what's called chat thread. The memory was limited to that particular chat. Now Data from one chat is flowing to all others. In simple words you are now subject of matter to the AI. Now it can analyse chat behaviour across all threads & can model a ideal behaviour of the user to answer future querries. This is both a pro & con feature simultaneously, just like wave particle duality. AI acts like it doesn't know anything unless u observe it! ☮️
