Online bidding would be hectic, because farmer brings 1 quintal lot to 100 quintal lot and there are 1000's of farmers like this in each mandi comes daily. Quality doesn't means lab check, every merchant has their own qwality parameters acc. to their clients, and delivering it directly to merchant's warehouse is happening today as well but that merchant know which area's quality is perfect, so they call directly to farmers they negotiate with each other and lock the deal and payment mode depends upon each other's interest. So I would suggest this particular idea requires physical experience of buying and selling in all states because everyone has different procedures, then you might better understand me.
