🤯😨 Soon we will also experience something like this: Japan has set a world record for internet speed — 402 Terabits per second. A group of engineers from Japan's National Institute of Information and Communications Technology exceeded the previous best record by about 25%, which was set in October 2023. This was achieved using advanced signal amplifiers made from rare earth elements and an optical equalizer. Specialists utilized previously unused signal transmission ranges during the process. Researchers believe that the experiments conducted will aid in the development of future high-speed internet infrastructure.
