Kleiner Perkins recently raised ~$2 billion across two of their funds - - $1.2 B for middle to late stage companies - $825 M for early stage startups ⏭️KP is now the fourth legacy VC to raise funds despite a sub-par market. A few India investments include - (1). a16z, $7.2 B in 2024 -> Atlys, Coinswitch (2). Norwest VP, $3 B in 2024 -> Swiggy, XpressBees, Yatra (3). TCV, $3B raised in 2024 -> Razorpay (4). Kleiner Perkins, $2B in 2024 -> MakeMyTrip, Naukri (early investor) 🧠None currently have India-focused funds, but we may see more participation in the next few years.
