I have an idea that I would like to combine Instagram and WhatsApp where medias are stored on the server like Instagram but will have a WhatsApp like sharing feature… For example if I want to send a video to selected family members platform will give me an option to choose whom I’m sending the media to. Users of the platform will have feeds from the family or friends only. Suggest me how is this idea and help me with more such features. How I got this idea. When I want to share videos photos to my family members I have to send it in WhatsApp and which will consume space of my family members phone device. What if all those videos and photos are stored on the server and any family member can view videos and photos without downloading them on to their phones.

ow about incorporating a live video sharing feature? It could work like a private video call where the session is automatically saved to the cloud, and only selected family members can access it later.

In iPhotos and google photos is a feature. I used to share my album with my family, through google photos, by just adding their mails.

t sounds promising, but remember that integrating two massive platforms like Instagram and WhatsApp won't be easy. You’ll face stiff competition from both, so make sure your app has unique features that they don’t offer and really solves a pain point effectively.
