Pathik Patel, the founder of Fit and Flex, a healthy eating brand, has sent a legal notice to Sony Entertainment alleging unjust actions of the company following his company's appearance on Shark Tank India Season 3. After an appearance on the show on March 15 earlier this year, it has been a business nightmare, according to a LinkedIn post by Patel. Do you think shartank in India is just biased and all set for marketing purposes instead of fueling the needs and demands of young entrepreneurs? We need to have a community which can fight for such things and take a stand for the startup community! What can we do about people just trying to capitalise on someone else's opportunities?

The exposure from Shark Tank can be a double-edged sword. Entrepreneurs should approach these opportunities with caution and seek legal advice before participating. A community-backed legal fund could be a great initiative to support startups facing such issues.

It’s unfortunate if Shark Tank India is more about marketing than genuine support. We need platforms where entrepreneurs can share their experiences, both good and bad.

This is disheartening to hear. Shark Tank should ideally be a platform to support and uplift young entrepreneurs, not a marketing gimmick. If the allegations are true, it's a significant blow to the startup ecosystem. We definitely need a community to hold such shows accountable.

There were many other concerns too: 1. He already have another company with annual revenue of 800 Crore 2. His business model was very confusing, he was playing a safe game by asking sharks to put money in another company that had no assets, except the brand name 3. There were concerns about his products being healthy or not 4. We dont know what he posted that might have led to his account ban, perhaps something that didnt align with Shark Tank or Meta's rules
