The below two images are of the cars by Tata motors and Hyundai in the year 2010, nearly a decade ago. The Tata Indigo used to come with very basic features, the most luxurious feature used to be the power window, apart from that it was just a mechanical machine But if we look at Hyundai i20, it used to come with automatic climate control, Infotainment system, alloy wheels, electrically adjustable mirrors and many more features. As of today, Tata cars are no longer just a machine, and provides almost all the luxurious feature you can think about. Along with that, they have brought significant change in the design, making it look so much better than many other cars. The most important point that make Tata the most preferred choice is the 5 star safety rating. Ofcourse Tata & Mahindra cars have drawbacks, but we can see that Indian car makers are giving tough competition to foreign car makers. This indicates that in near future they have a good chance to lead in all the segment.
