Razorpay/Cashfree or any platform can collect money, but they canโ€™t keep it in their account for long, they are legally bound to send it to your current account. So you need a current account. To open a current account you need some document. You can register for a GST certificate as a sole proprietor. Youโ€™ll need someone who is willing to provide address proof for registering for GST certificate.

So I was wrong. You can accept international payments from your Individual razorpay / cashfree account, no need for GSTIN or any company details. You just have to connect your PayPal account with your payment gateway.
