This was primarily done to enable transactions with respect to homeland laws. Later Ola, Uber, Swiggy, Zomato uses Aadhar for verifying their driver and delivery partners. This was done to prevent driver frauds. Now we have Matrimonial sites like Shaadi.com, dating platforms like Aisle asking for Aadhar verification. This was done to prevent multiple account creation. Recently social networking platforms like LinkedIn started requesting Aadhar verification. LinkedIn is the company with the least fake accounts, yet they enabled KYC using Govt. ID verification Now we are in an era today, where each and every platform will start asking for Govt. Verification. Do you think Aadhar verification is being misused?
