The Marubo tribe was very isolated tribe of Amazon forest, but once they received Elon's starlink connection, they gained access to high-speed internet. What is the result? Social media and p*rn addiction. Social media addiction has affected almost everyone in the village, and tribal men have begun to watch p*rn. Leaders complain that, "they are on their phone 24/7 scrolling social media and watching p*rn and the productivity of the village has came down drastically" These men even began sharing p*rnographic videos and some adult website links in their WhatsApp group chats. Seeing this new unfortunate trend, the leaders of the tribe are deeply disturbed and concerned.
