What is alternative to Doom scrolling? Everyone knows it's bad but every platform is using it. Is there any alternative way to keep up to date on a platform without doom scrolling feed. I'm working on something with a feed and I hate doom scrolling.

How about every post like showing like tinders profile, you swipe right to those you want to read and left for those you don’t want to. After you’re done w swiping, maybe all your right swipe posts you can read one after another like chats

You must understand why doomscrolling is happening in first place? Because minimal amount of brain i.e. resources is being used for consistent amount of dopamine. If you even figure out an alternative, it will only have to be worse than doomscrolling

Sorry if I wasn't clear in communicating The argument was not about doom scrolling being bad and looking for alternatives rather than scrolling. I'm looking for any alternative to it in a content platform where you need to keep up with content.

I think you should consider the "stories" format. It is more interesting than manual scrolling.
