I mean yes it could work as in the case of Hrithik roshan 's HRX brand has imposed it's position in clothing apparel . But true it's stability in the market will be affected if the celeb has a downfall or gets into legal issue . It's advantage is that they already have a market because of their fans and bigger the star bigger will be the buying audience same as in the politics.

You need to be sure if the celeb is really capable of that as once he is face of your company, whatever goes with his/her stardom might affect the brand image of your company too.
