Movie with music isn't bad I think But which kind of music(especially dance) matters a lot 😤😅

I don't think Bollywood music tarnishes India's image any more than our crazy action sequences do. It's just seen as wildly entertaining and dramatic by foreigners.

I think film songs are a big reason why Indian music hasn't evolved as much as other global genres. We're kind of stuck in the era of melodic songs made for movies.

Songs and dance are ingrained in Indian film culture from the very beginning. It's not just commercial exploitation but rather an intrinsic part of the experience people expect.

It's Indian audiance who loves a songs a lot in movies to the point that Bollywood is not imagined complete without songs and that is the main reason behind incorporating songs in Indian movies.

I used to think about this all the time 😂😂😂 This other people randomly joining thing, it makes absolutely no sense, and what’s funnier is people being ok with it, or normalised should i say. Music se sensationalism create hota hai (hence one item song) aur iss sensationalism ko as a proxy for creativity use karte hai, directors. This is my opinion.
