But if you don't have connections, right now in my opinion, there are many ways to connect with VCs. But the chances of getting a response from them are very low. So searching for a particular platform would be a great idea! Just search and I will suggest this to you. AngelList, Crunchbase, and our favorite LinkedIn. So check these out, and response rates on these platforms are very high compared to others. Because people are looking for investments in business on these platforms, not everyone but (VCs, Angel Investors) and many more.

one suggestion, don't look for vc's . approach established businessman in your area . pitch to them . when you pitch to 30-35 people. somehow your name will reach to vc's and they will contact you if your idea has potential. secondly, remember one thing established vc's they won't be approached directly that too at a smaller level . you look for persons who has money and enquire about people in your city who are buying lands all time . they can become your potential investor. if you need guidance I can help you out

If you do not understand what I am saying, drop this plan immediately and go learn something for which the world respects you, and then try to say something that bold. You need some traction for VCs. We like to see grit. So beg, borrow, steal. Raise funds from from your family/friends/angels and validate your idea.

If think, you need that much money think about it. And most important is if you don't have that much great Idea or plan, No is going to invest. And it's actually huge amount, Risks are associated with it think. I would say get a moderate amount of money, Start and then invest in the Business as needed. It would be a great idea, and risk would be relatively low. And if you looking for a venture capitalist, Than if you can go to events than definitely do that, But it is generally good and a bad idea at the same time. So I would say if know anyone who might be interested in your idea than build connection and start pitching them, or if you have less time and don't want to waste your time in building connection, maintaining them, Than go talk, if they're interested they will invest. And finding step is like the most important step, And hard actually if you have a advisor, mentor, or anyone who is known by many people (especially like VCs, Business Investors)
