Help me on quitting!! Hi everyone I want to resigning from an unpaid internship, but I have a few questions. Should I give a two weeks notice? I really don't want to because I feel like that would be awkward to continue working after telling them I'm quitting. Considering the work I'm doing is mostly comprised of stuffing bags and numbering envelopes, I don't think I'm leaving them high and dry. Can I quit via email? I'm not the best with confrontation and I know it's not the professional thing to do but how bad would it be? I am not expecting to get a reference at all from this and l've just accepted that this past month has been a waste as far as being able to use it on my resume.
