How does namma yatri make money? This don't add up. "it's a CSR initiative" the cost to run something at this scale is too much to be pure CSR. It has to make money somehow. "They will introduce credit for drivers" high risk, won't be enough revenu

I checked open street map API, it's just raw geo data. Either they are using Google maps distance matrix, roads, places API fully (which they are doing looking at the source code) or they are making it in house which is massively complex, expensive and will be inferior to Google maps API

I just checked the source code and there is still references to Google maps distance matrix, places and roads API which are the money hungry ones

I checked their source code (yes it's open source) and looks like they are still using a lot of Google maps. I can be wrong tho because I can't read haskell

Now I think OLA maps are great know and by investing soke more they should make a Map App like Google Maps and take over Google Maps. I don't know , I want Indian Monopoly.
