The thing that makes AGI so dangerous is that instead of making one product that caters to the need of a large market, it will create a unique product for each market, and in near future, each person, and thereby capture a large market. You shall not have to adapt to it. It will adapt to you. That's where the money is at. For instance: 1. If you're a content writer, it will copy your exact style of writing. 2. If you're a digital artist, it will show a pieces of art having your own style so that you can take ideas. 3. (Nsfw)If you're a p**n addict, it will show you exactly what you want to see. This also means a few things: OpenAI is probably going to outrun a lot of GenAI startups just because of the sheer amount of resources they have. If you think about it, OpenAI is the closest thing we have to AGI on earth. No other GenAI company, will ever be able to match the intelligence of ChatGPT's future releases. ChatGPT will become whatever people want it to be. Period.
