Switching jobs with 1-2 years of experience! For those developers out there with 1-2 years of experience who are trying to switch jobs, how's the job hunt going for you? I've applied to over 300 jobs and got just one response from an HR. The interviewer didn't show up, and now the HR has ghosted me. What's been your experience? Got any tips or strategies to share?

Prepare better using Glassdoor to research companies and read interview experiences. This can give you a better idea of what to expect.

Focus on quality over quantity. Applying to 300 jobs sounds exhausting. Try to identify companies you really want to work for and research them thoroughly. Tailor your application to show you’re genuinely interested.

I had switched my companies every three - five months, honestly I’m getting paid more than I’m deserved to, but considering the stuff I’ve done on the previous companies, I’ve had picked up solid projects, which helped me leverage it massively.

Don't just rely on job boards. Look for job openings on company websites and apply directly. Smaller companies and startups often post jobs on their own sites before they go to job boards.
