Seeking Opinions: Transitioning from Tech Sales to Starting My Own Venture I'm 26, working in sales for 3 years, recently got into tech sales for better pay. I'm in Bangalore, earning 14 in hand, but the high cost of living limits my savings. I don't feel satisfied with job in general and want to return to my hometown (tier-2 city) to start working on my own business & live life. I've made significant revenue for past companies (5-10x my pay) and have experience growing teams and generating revenue substantially. I now have a remote job offer with the same pay. My plan: move back home, save 40% of my salary, start a side gig for passive income, and slowly develop my own startup. Eventually, I hope to quit the job and focus entirely on my venture. How does this plan sound? Am I missing any key factors? Any advice from those who have taken a similar path? Looking forward to your insights!
