MLM (Multilevel Marketing) scams are like pyramid schemes. The only difference is that MLM focuses on sales rather than just recruitment. In MLM, people are incentivized to recruit and sell inventory. Since awareness of pyramid schemes is spreading, people have shifted to MLM.
