I got selected in a company ( selling web solutions),based in Mohali as a business development intern via campus placements. Everything was fine they selected 12 student, from MBA,BBA,BCom. Internship has to start from 7th June ;we didn’t received the offer letter till 1st June the placement people(Of my college) said that it will be issued today itself. I went the next day, one of the placement cell teachers, told the entire HR team of that compamy had resigned and your internship is cancelled! What was that , we people did all the preparations for going to Mohali and Internship period as per college rules had to start from 7th June ! What’s your opinion on this ?

Oh no, that's so disappointing! After all the excitement and preparation, it's really bad news. Hopefully, the college can find you all another good internship quickly. Stay positive!

Try to stay positive. Maybe this is an opportunity in disguise. Look for remote internships or even consider working on your own project. It could turn out better than you expect.

Use this as a learning experience. Now you know the importance of getting everything in writing and following up frequently. Also, consider looking for other internships or even short-term projects to fill the gap.

This happens more often than you'd think, unfortunately. Companies sometimes go through sudden changes, but it's still unacceptable to leave potential interns hanging like that. Recently a big comp. like Atlan did it. smh.
