Well each of them have their own perks - Gold if you want to entrust some funds into an asset which is going to always be above all currencies. I would suggest you to to with SGBs or physical bricks or coins (If you want to see the bling) - Stocks if you have a limited corpose which you need to get back in a couple of years. You can start with the basic Nifty 50 index investments to distribute your funds across the top 50 companies - Commerical real-estates get you a higher rental yield or resale value but they require a larger corpus so if you have that then you can make a definite asset out of it. - Cryptocurrencies bear higher risk but can give you a higher return too but as long as you bear only 10% of your total investment portfolio on it then you are good also as long as you only can bear the risk of loosing a decent chunk of it when the global market drops. Always invest in bluechip cryptocurrencies primarily BTC, LTC, ETH etc.
