I think there is a growing gap between the purchasing power of people in Tier 2 cities (especially among young people) and the activities available in these cities. Startups need to penetrate this gap effectively. You can see a lot of new franchises opening in these cities. I want to see this trend grow so much that every opportunity turns into a business model, from small chai kiosks to retail clothing stores to offline tuitions. This is possible with the advent of AI and 5G but largely depends on a strong government to ensure that the purchasing power of people continuously increases through sustainable policies.

I don’t think the bigger cities in India will survive for long without a major change in infra or without building newer cities for growth. The condition of most top tier cities is getting worse day by day. People need to start moving to other cities
