Agnikul Cosmos, is an Indian aerospace startup founded in 2017 and incubated at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. This company is focused in the development of small-lift launch vehicles, focusing on the use of 3D printing technology for rocket engine production. Agnikul has recently launched a rocket named "Agniban" and the fact is that this rocket is made by 3D printing technology and also its semi-cryogenic rocket engine (none other country has it) is also 3D-printed as a single component. This use of additive manufacturing helps reduce production time and costs while increasing design flexibility. despite this fact the rocket is capable of carrying payloads up to 100 kg to a 700 km altitude. And this mission was called "the SubOrbital Technological Demonstrator (SOrTeD)." Key investors include Celesta Capital, Rocketship.vc, Artha Venture Fund, Artha Select Fund, and Mayfield India. These investors have collectively helped Agnikul raise $40M with $26.7M in Series B.
