Do you use a RuPay credit card with UPI? How often does your credit card bill exceed your expectations? Are you spending more because of your credit card? I just want to understand whether this could become another potential debt trap for Indians

Yes, u r right Bcz UPI payment is like shopping at Mall for a Coke but we fill the bucket of so many unwanted items & easy pay by UPI every time. It increases the credit card debts ver fast. Agreed

UPI on Credit? PhonePe’s Boldest Bet Yet In partnership with HDFC Bank and NPCI, the card is powered by Rupay and allows UPI payments through credit. NPCI had enabled this back in 2022, but PhonePe had to wait almost ten months to get RBI approval.
