Reducing the number of colleges might be a bit extreme, but improving the quality of education is definitely needed. Accreditation standards need to be stricter. Also, continuous feedback from the industry should shape the curriculum dynamically.

Yes, you can't just let anybody and everybody start colleges left right and center, the standards must be increased and made strict.
