I'm definitely concerned about the implications of advanced AI becoming too prominent and powerful. Sure, it makes many tasks more efficient and convenient in the short-term. But are we fully considering the longterm societal impacts of potentially rendering entire job sectors obsolete? Not to mention the existential risk if superintelligent AI systems become unaligned with human values. We need robust governance frameworks.
