I agree with him! Internet and Calculator were not so big invention that could replace any job, Accountant was feared because the calculator could take his/her job but instead it helped them coz its obvious that the owed won't be checking and maintaining accounts. Company requires and accountant to make sure all the operations are done correctly Hence, people say AI will take jobs of Programmers, NO it won't unless you aren't working AI integrated in your work. The reason is that the programming is just creating programmes but also many things like maintaining it and make it integrated perfectly which requires physical involvement also the owner wouldn't be using AI and making AI do the work of programmers everyday it obviously requires person ( accountant example) Now, instead of you are updated to latest technology then it would be very useful for you ( 10X growth ) if used AI in your workspace

AI can help programmers become more efficient in doing what they do. This means a project requiring a team of 100 people having multiple people with same roles might only require only one or two person with those roles and the remaining will be laid off.
