Hey everyone, it's awesome to be back with you. [this post is a continuation of a previous post, check that out before] You all remember young John, right? He wasn't fazed when his old company shut down. With enough savings and a partner named Clark, he jumped into the grocery industry. It wasn't easy at first, but they eventually built a solid customer base. By 1862, they had raked in a whopping 17000$ in profit. But hold on, a major twist was on the horizon. Back in the day, oil was a hot commodity, obtained by hunting whales. But with the whale population dwindling, things were getting unsustainable. Then, boom! Crude oil was struck in Pennsylvania, marking the birth of the oil industry. Meanwhile, Clark and Rockefeller met a young entrepreneur looking to kickstart an oil business. Together, they dived into the oil industry while still running their grocery shop. That's it for Part 2. Stay tuned for the next part, where we uncover John's more VICIOUS side. Till next time!
