The creation of Tinder's iconic "swipe" feature was a pivotal moment in the app's development. Jonathan Badeen, one of Tinder's co-founders, came up with the idea after wiping a mirror clean and noticing the natural swipe motion. This innovative feature allowed users to quickly and easily sort through potential matches, making the app engaging and addictive.
