The benefit of every hire knowing about operations of the company being what exactly? IMO?, if a job seeker's interests are more aligned with the operational details rather than what his department and his role will be, more often than not they're scouting ideas especially in early stage startups. I understand that we think the world to be a beautiful place filled with lovely human beings, but to execute plans properly you gotto understand the nuances of human psychology. Not everyone is innately nice.
