As Per Srimad Bhagavatam (Bhagavat Puran) - There are 4 basic Qualifications of humans , else if one donot has them - one should be called a two legged animal (as per bhagavatam's definition) : They are Tapa (Austerity) , Shaucham (Cleanliness) , Dayaa (Kindness) , Satyam (Truthfulness) - in kaliyuga , most of them are absent in people . why? they are destroyed by 4 pillars of Sinful Life - Meat Eating (destroys kindness) , Gambling (Destroys Truthfulness) , Intoxication or Nashaa Karnaa (Destroys Austerity ) , Illicit Sex (Destroys Cleanliness) . Thus, one who follows 4 Regulative Principles of freedom - No Meat Eating (includes unwanted killing and selling too/supporting such acts), No Gambling , No Intoxication , No Illicit Sex (Out of marriage , before marriage , all sex that donot produces children) . In Kaliyuga , finding a human is rare .
