According to a report by Unicommerce, the cart abandonment rate in tier 2 and tier 3 cities is around 60%, significantly higher than tier 1 cities, with delivery time being one of the major reasons. quicker delivery services and customizing product offerings based on demand (value-for-money or premium), you can potentially tap into the next wave of e-commerce buyers from tier 2 cities, as growth in tier 1 cities is stagnating. Establishing a logistics and supply chain network in tier 2 cities is hard. Building brand awareness and customer trust in new markets is also hard to do . Competing with established players who may already have a presence in these markets is another pressure. Managing operational costs and achieving profitability in new markets also difficult.
