Product management comes more by your business knowledge so mostly they hire mba people. Or they might hire experience people either who have done a course by some great communitys. Also trust me product management role seems very creative and intresting but most of the times it will be nerve wrecking. The time will be good for you only when you are in a well doing company. If you are in a not well doing company many things comes down to you. 1st try to get exp and then do some course then compete.
