What do you guys think about a dating app with the concept of one at a time dating? Once you match, you can go back to swiping profiles only when you unmatch your current match. Why do we want this? So right now in the dating industry, the conept of talking and flirting with a lot of people at the same time seems a bit off from what we actually do (or atleast supposed to do) outside the dating app world or in an offline scenario. This is actually inducing (mostly in women) a behaviour of talking to a 100 people and then deciding whom to date based on just those texts, which are actually very superficial! With this minor change, I want to promote having a tiny bit of commitment towards your matches which might really have major psychological changes and promote having more real and genuine connections. Views?

I think this will make users to shift on other platforms. Because nowadays no-one is loyal to one partner who are using these platforms they use it just for casual hookups or open relationships so if you restrict them they will move to other place.

Appreciating your idea, However now a days people(excluding some exceptional people) are adapted to have multiple options in hand when choosing/planning anything to be in the safe page. Your idea for sure work for some set of the exceptional people. But in terms of growing with the idea as company might have think of additional features along with yours to attract all set of people

The concept is whole good to be very honest! But since we cant make another match unmatching the current one can create engagement problem for the people as that may be time consuming and you don't have options!
