Assuming the technology gets cheap and efficient enough, incentivizing households to separate bio-waste through rebates/credits could be a smart way to improve collection rates and feedstock supply.

Major problem is not of technology but of raw material ie the bio waste availablity round the year. Collection from household or from municipality, segregation of waste as 99% waste is not segregated.
