Nowadays acquiring education is becoming more and more costly whereas the average income hasn't seen that increase. People do say that there are government schools for poor kids but we all know the quality of education they provide. In a recent report made after visiting government schools it was stated that class 5 students weren't able to read class 2 books and do simple calculations. So do you think "education is a basic human right " notion still works or is it just for the privileged ones .

Not only case in school if you get IIT or not you will have a good chance to get more exposure to the real world and the best teacher but the rest of college playing his or her Career.

I believe it’s very unfortunate how privileged are exposed to more opportunities. However, learning and gaining knowledge is not limited to privileged in my opinion. If you talk about certification to show expertise in a field, that’s a different case. But skills can be developed by anyone. But again it’s easier for the privileged class because of the exposure they get.

Teachers are the backbone of education and we have low bar when it comes to hiring good ones. Forget students ask these same questions to teachers and see their response. Technology though is helping a lot to bridge this gap for students. Internet is making them aware what quality education looks like.

As you already stated the condition of govt school is devastated , so it's not basic human right not .. If you can afford it, that's all matters. Education is biggest booming business .

The same thing goes on with getting education loans ...we need the college signed document stating all the expenses but colleges usually give those after taking a registration fee of 20k to 40k and if the person is not able to get the loan due to any situation those 20k are completely wasted as it isn't refundable 🥲
