Looks like we need some serious awarness on what we drink and eat. Also some serious law against govt officials taking bribes. He was caught taking bribe for clearing pending bill but, Imagine someone official taking bribe and passed harmful product to indian market it's a question about billions of lives.

I don’t know how most of the government officials have this mindset but if you ask younger generations about would you take bribe and get the work done they would probably say no.so do you think there will be lesser corrupt officials in the future?

Whether someone believes in deep state conspiracies or not, we can all agree that bribery and backroom dealing in ANYTHING involving public health/safety is absolutely unacceptable though, right? Bad enough with an inconsequential thing like pending legislation. But bribing to get legit dangerous items on the market? That's criminal negligence at best.

I'm sure there are some shady practices here and there, but I seriously doubt there's some vast corporate-government collusion to poison us all or whatever. A lot of regulations and oversights are already in place. Let's not get too hyperbolic here.

I mean, we've all heard the theories about Coke having opioids or Nestle using child labor. Whether those specific things are true or not, it really makes you wonder what other shadiness goes on behind the scenes that we consumers don't know about. The lack of oversight and accountability is terrifying.
