Personal opinion I can't tell how vast the requirement for such a platform would be, cause personally I've never come across a scenario where I felt like I must translate English to any other language in order to converse with someone. Having said that, even if I do come across such a scenario, I'd just Google translate my text and send it. Having an app just for this purpose feels a little cluttered. If you could work on an extension or a plug-in for this purpose which could work with whatsapp, I feel that might be better.
