Putting a random thing which I was thinking: People take their job title too seriously.I think in India it is a bit of a tad . For e.g: as a software engineer if you write a open source software which is used by those "big techs" . Yet your job title is a junior level at a small startup. (This is true many popular libraries is being written by such exceptional developers) And the same people who praised you for being a "manager in Microsoft" will not give a shit about you when you lose the jobs due to layoffs etc.
