My job hardly takes 4 hours of work but my manager forces me to stay in office till 8pm. Why canโt I work from 10am-3pm and leave if I am done. What is this need to make everyone sit on their desks uselessly? The reason I get is that everyone will

Work hours werenโt mentioned by hr told that usual 9-5
Then tell this to your manager. Your work hours might be written somewhere, perhaps NDA or rules or JR

Lol manager isn't a decision maker. Talk with your HR or Cofounder, they will know better about productivity
