He studied at the University of Chicago, for Ph.D. in political science in 1943. Contributions: •Along with Allen Newell, Simon developed the concept of "bounded rationality,". •Simon's work on problem-solving and decision-making processes in humans led to the development of the "general problem solver," •This work laid the foundation for the development of expert systems and other AI technologies.
